Day 1

You will be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transferred to your luxury boutique hotel.

The five star Long Beach is right on the beach in the picturesque lobster-fishing village of Kommetjie, a short 30 minute drive from Cape Town. The eight kilometers of fine white sand set against a backdrop of the most stunning sea views offers Cape Town's most romantic hideaway, one of just a handful of places where the sea is on your doorstep.

Day 2

This morning your rental vehicle will be delivered at your hotel. Day at leisure to explore the Cape Peninsula and all the wonders it offers visitors.

The Long Beach is an unspoilt paradise in which to walk, ride horses, surf or simply laze in the sun. From the inviting pool or your private deck you can watch whales frolic a hundred meters off shore and in season, you can catch your own lobster and request it for dinner. Kommetjie is one of the premier surfing and marine birding hotspots in South Africa and has the country's tallest cast iron lighthouse open to the public.

Day 3

Spend the day experiencing the vibrant Mother City, as Cape Town is affectionaly referred to. Visit Table Mountain, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, shop for souvenirs at the Greenmarket Square or take the ferry to Robben Island.

Your luxury suite was designed with comfort in mind - to make the most discerning guest feel relaxed and thoroughly pampered. Decorated in Anna Carst interiors, hand-painted natural fabrics with tranquil blues and salmon pinks against a warm ivory background, the suites echo the colors of the hotels exquisite coastal setting. Each suite is adorned with colonial-style lime washed wooden shutters, which, when opened depict spectacular views of the crystal blue Atlantic Beach and the pure white sands of Kommetjie's famous, Long Beach.

You can step off the pool deck outside your elegant suite straight onto the unspoilt dunes. Breakfast is served overlooking the pool deck and the beach, with lunch and dinner available on request in the elegant dining room.

Day 4

This morning after a leisurely breakfast you will drive to Cape Town International Airport. Drop off your vehicle at Domestic Departures. Fly from Cape Town to Mpumalanga.

On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport you will be met and transferred to your luxury game lodge situated in the famed Kruger National Park. Jock Safari Lodge incorporates the romance and elegance of the past colonial era, and reflects in its unique style the indigenous Zulu and Shangaan cultures. Jock Safari Lodge was the first private lodge to be granted a concession in the Kruger National Park .Twelve luxury air-conditioned suites, each with their own private sala overlook the river as do the romantic bathrooms and outdoor showers. Sightings of animals including the Big Five can be seen while relaxing around the rock pool or from the comfort and privacy of your own room.

Day 5

At Five in the morning, you are woken by a soft knocking on your door (only if one wishes of course). Enjoy morning tea and muffins with your ranger, before leaving by 05h45AM to catch the sunrise and animal viewing. By the time you return from the morning game drive all the morning staff are at camp, where there will be breakfast ready from 08h30AM till 09h00AM.

After breakfast you may choose to enjoy a bush walk depending on your personal fitness levels, it is normally takes one to two hours. The game rangers offer fauna and flora lectures and magnificent rock art viewing. Each topic is discussed and guests are welcome to set the pace as they wish. There is of course always the good possibility of game viewing on foot.

One returning to the lodge, one can relax in the suites or wallow in the pool before a delicious lunch. You don't have to have a formal sit down lunch but you can order and enjoy in the privacy of your sala. The evening game drive starts at 16h30PM, with cool box sundowners and snacks. The ranger stops to watch the sun going down in Africa. You return back to Jock Safari Lodge between 20h30PM till 21h00PM, where dinner is served at the boma near the wagons.

Day 6

Full Day Game Activities, including two open vehicle game drives and an optional bush walk.

Your expectations of comfort and quality will be exceeded at Jock Safari Lodge. 12 Luxury air-conditioned suites offer guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. Your private terrace has its own plunge pool and a wooden walkway to a lapa overlooking the riverbed.

Day 7

After one last exciting early morning game drive and bush breakfast, you will be met at the lodge and transferred to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your short domestic flight to Johannesburg.
