"The world steps aside to let any man pass if he knows where he is going."
- David S. Jordan

Wow! The Christmas decorations are up in the stores, the Christmas cards are starting to arrive en mass, we are switching on the city's lights this week, is it really the end of another year already?! It seems even the schools are out already as well, where'd the year go I'd like to know... Been a good year though, probably went by quicker because we enjoyed it so much! We've learned a lot, we've grown a lot, we've met some extraordinary people and built some exceptional partnerships.

December and January is going to be a rocking time in South Africa - there's hardly a bed left in Cape Town over the festive season, so if you do still require assistance, you might want to consider one of the smaller seaside towns which the Western Cape is so well known for.

Next year is another bumper year, with suppliers becoming creative with their product and some really exciting new suppliers soon available.

For example, Rovos Rail is offering a unique opportunity to Luxury Steam Train enthusiasts worldwide to travel on board The Pride of Africa under steam haulage for almost the entire journey. The locomotives used at various stages will include 19D and 25NC.

The Journey: Victoria Falls to Pretoria
The Dates: 27 April 2008 to 6 May 2008
The cost from: R 29 500 per person sharing in a Pullman Suite.
Fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, drinks, full steam experience and off-train excursions.   En route we will stop at Hwange, Matobo Game Reserves and Antelope Park for game drives and visit the Bulawayo Rail Museum before entering Botswana en route to South Africa. We will be introducing some magnificent Beach & Bush Breaks early next year as well. There's also some great sporting events to look forward to, like the J&B Met in January, the A1GP Durban in February and the Cape Argus Pick & Pay Cycle tour in March - I would suggest you contact us now to book your accommodation and transport! On sport, we have also received some updated information on the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Contact us for information:

We'll keep it short this month, there's so many annoying Season's Greetings emails doing the rounds, and we all have a lot to get done and time's running out to do it in 2007 ;-)
Wishing you a great few weeks before the holidays!

Kind Regards
