It is only a 5 and a half-hour drive from Johannesburg, near the Orpen Gate of the Kruger Park, South Africa. Should you be traveling from Nelspruit, it is a 2 and a half-hour drive from Kruger Gate.

Six luxury air conditioned 'bee-hive' suites, cylindrical in structure with earth coloured walls and a tapering thatched reed roof boast king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private game viewing decks. All fabrics, décor and objet d'art are sourced from the local Tsonga community and stand tribal proud.
Hoyo-Hoyo Traditional Village meal times cannot be missed, breakfast is at 09am - 10:30am, lunch is at 14pm - 15pm and dinner is at 20:30pm. Hoyo-Hoyo Traditional Village has a congenial atmosphere lounge offering tea and coffee at no additional charge. There is also a fully licensed bar at Hoyo Hoyo's.
Menus at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge are of world - class standards, yet served with a traditional flair, such as breakfast in a potjie pot or over the coals of a braai, delicately balanced with a European flair to accommodate all tastes. Drinks are served in an authentic calabash, and dinner is a delightful social affair.

Hoyo-Hoyo Traditional Village attractions offer adrenalin game drives, bush walks, bird watching in the hide overlooking the waterhole, a swimming pool, butler service and a self drive on safari in Kruger Park. Hoyo Hoyo offers two game drives daily to guests on suggested itinerary in Kruger Park. In summer, morning drives depart at 05h30AM, and evening drives depart at 17h30PM. In winter morning drives depart at 06h00AM, and evening drives depart at 16h00PM.
Morning game drives last about three hours. Evening game drives last about four hours with a stop for sundowners before viewing nocturnal animals on your safari.
